Lalit Dhiman, a businessman from Beherwin Jattan village, was astounded when he received an electricity bill for December 2024, totaling a mind-boggling ₹2,083,424,016.39. The astronomical figure left him both stunned and perplexed.

When Lalit Dhiman brought the matter to the attention of the electricity office in Hamirpur, the error was swiftly rectified. As a result, his bill was adjusted to a more reasonable ₹4,047, as confirmed by Anurag Chandel, the Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) of the electricity department at Bhoranj.
