Dharamshala: Travelers from Gaggal Airport will soon have direct flight options to Noida, Jaipur, and Dehradun. Starting March 30, the airport will expand its flight services to include these new destinations, enhancing connectivity for passengers in the region. Currently, Gaggal Airport offers direct flights to Shimla, Delhi and Chandigarh.

As part of the upcoming schedule changes, flights to Delhi will see an increase in frequency, while direct services to Dehradun, Noida, and Jaipur will also be introduced. The Airport Authority is in active discussions with airlines such as Alliance Air, Indigo and SpiceJet to launch these new routes. If successful, the direct flights to these cities will be available by the end of March.

The addition of these new routes comes in response to growing demand from travelers who have been calling for more city connections from Gaggal Airport. Airline companies, including Alliance Air, Indigo, and SpiceJet, currently operate flights to Shimla, Delhi, and Chandigarh from Gaggal.

Gaggal Airport Director, Dhirendra Singh, confirmed that flights will operate from sunrise to sunset, further accommodating passengers and offering enhanced connectivity for the region. The introduction of these direct flight services is expected to significantly improve travel options for residents and visitors in the Dharamshala area.
