Dharamshala: The Himachal Pradesh School Education Board is setting an ambitious new timeline for the 2024-25 academic session, aiming to streamline the examination and result declaration process for classes 10 and 12. The board has announced that the annual exams will begin on March 4, with results expected to be declared by April 18, just 20 days after the final exam.

Class 10 exams will wrap up by March 22, while class 12 exams will conclude on March 29. This accelerated schedule is designed to help students complete their exams and secure timely college admissions without delays.

Dr. Major Vishal Sharma, Secretary of the School Education Board, emphasized, “We have put in place a detailed plan to ensure efficient evaluation and result declaration. Special evaluation centers have been established, and arrangements are in place for quick delivery of answer sheets to meet the April 18 deadline.”

Building on last year’s success, when results were declared a day ahead of the targeted April 30 date, the board aims to further enhance its efficiency. This year’s early result declaration is part of the board’s broader goal to set a benchmark in education management, benefiting thousands of students and their families. Preparations are well underway, with the board focused on ensuring smooth execution and timely results.
