Minor Injuries Reported, Police Investigate Cause of the Incident

Solan, December 30: A potentially deadly accident was narrowly avoided on Monday morning between Datiyar and Jabli in Solan district. At approximately 6:30 AM, a luxury bus en route to Shimla lost control and overturned on the road. Fortunately, although several passengers sustained minor injuries, there were no fatalities.

Local residents, who were alerted by the sound of the bus overturning, quickly arrived at the scene to assist. They carefully rescued the trapped passengers before alerting the police and emergency services. An ambulance arrived shortly after, and the injured were transported to a nearby hospital where they received prompt medical attention.

Eyewitnesses indicated that the bus lost control, but the exact cause of the accident remains unclear. Investigations are ongoing to determine whether it was due to a technical fault or another reason. This incident follows a similar event earlier in the week when another luxury bus experienced a tire burst in the Shamlech area, which also narrowly avoided a major crash.

These incidents highlight ongoing concerns regarding road safety and the need for more rigorous vehicle inspections in the region. The local police and transport department are being urged to review safety protocols to prevent future accidents. Currently, police are conducting an investigation to uncover the exact cause of the mishap. Thankfully, the passengers involved are reported to be in stable condition.
