Gohar Police Act on Tip-Off, Recover 3000 ml of Contraband Liquor
Mandi, December 26: In a significant move against illegal liquor trade, the Gohar Police have seized 3000 ml of illicit liquor following a tip-off. The raid took place at the residence of Karma Chand, a local resident of Bhagyar village, under the jurisdiction of the Gohar police station.
Acting on reliable information regarding the smuggling of illegal liquor, the police team swiftly raided Karma Chand’s house, located in the village of Bhagyar, Tehsil Chachyot, Mandi. The search led to the recovery of 3000 ml of alcohol, which was in violation of the Himachal Pradesh Excise Act.

As a result of the recovery, the police have registered a case against Karma Chand under the relevant provisions of the Himachal Pradesh Excise Act. The accused has been arrested, and the police have initiated a detailed investigation into the matter.
