Shimla: The stage is set for a spectacular Winter Carnival in Shimla, scheduled to begin on December 24 at the Ridge Ground. A vibrant mix of star performers, including renowned Punjabi Sufi singer Satinder Sartaj, Bollywood playback singer Shabab Sabri, and the electrifying Crazy Hoppers, will grace the carnival’s stage. Over 20 talented artists, including local Himachali folk performers, are also slated to showcase their acts, promising a diverse cultural celebration.

Exciting Lineup of Performances

The Winter Carnival, organized by the Municipal Corporation, will kick off with a grand inauguration by Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu. The first Star Night will feature Shabab Sabri, who will set the stage on fire with his Bollywood playback hits. The evening will also include performances by Crazy Hoppers, finalists from India’s Got Talent, ensuring the crowd gets an exhilarating start to the festivities.

Local talent will be in the spotlight too, with Himachali folk artist Rajeev Sharma headlining the first night. Over the course of the carnival, more than 20 local artists, including Nati King Kuldeep Sharma, Sonu Himachali, Arun Jasta, and others, will take center stage. The event will provide a platform for these folk performers to showcase Himachal’s rich musical heritage alongside Bollywood and contemporary acts.

  • December 28: Muskan Thakur, Anuj Sharma (reality show performers).
  • December 29: Kumar Sahil (Voice of Punjab), Kuldeep Sharma (Nati King).
  • December 30: Hemant Sharma, Tanmay Chaturvedi, Neha Dixit (Indian Idol), Gaurav Koundal (Voice of Punjab), Vicky Chauhan (Himachali folk singer).
  • December 31: Pankaj Thakur (folk singer), DJ International, Empire Models.
  • January 1: Indrajit and Harmony of Pines.
  • January 2: Satinder Sartaj (Punjabi Sufi singer).
