SP Ilma Afroz Resumes Duty in Baddi After Extended Leave
After a prolonged absence, Afroz returns to Baddi; Acting SP Vinod Dhiman’s role concludes
Baddi (Solan), December 16: Superintendent of Police (SP) Ilma Afroz has reported to the Police Headquarters in Shimla after a lengthy leave and is set to resume her duties in Baddi from Tuesday. During her leave, Vinod Dhiman had been appointed as the acting SP for Baddi.
SP Afroz, who had taken leave since November 6, had briefly returned to Baddi on the same day before heading to her village, Kurandki, in Moradabad, with her mother. Following her leave, she had extended her time off multiple times, each for one week.
On Monday, Ilma Afroz arrived at the Shimla Police Headquarters, where she met with the Director General of Police. After their meeting, it was confirmed that Afroz had agreed to return to her post in Baddi and would take charge from Tuesday.
