The Municipal Corporation of Shimla is in the final stages of confirming Sartaj for a star-studded night at the event. Discussions with the singer are ongoing regarding his performance fee and the specific date, but the show is almost a certainty.
A New Musical Chapter for Shimla Winter Carnival
For the first time, Satinder Sartaj, renowned for his soulful and heartfelt Punjabi songs, will grace the stage at the Winter Carnival. While Sartaj performed in Shimla during the Summer Festival in 2023, this will be his debut at the Winter Carnival. Cultural Evening in Honour of Kuldeep Sharma
The Winter Carnival is also set to feature a cultural evening dedicated to the famous “Nati King” Kuldeep Sharma. The Municipal Corporation has nearly finalized the program list for the Winter Carnival. However, the official schedule will only be released after a final meeting with the Chief Minister this week. The meeting is expected to finalize the details of the event and confirm the various performances, exhibitions, and competitions. Once finalized, the schedule will be shared with the public.
Stall Applications Open Until December 16
For those looking to be part of the carnival’s vibrant marketplace, the Municipal Corporation has announced that applications for 50 stalls at the new Ridge premises will be accepted until December 16. The stalls, which will offer a range of products and services, will be allotted on the same day. Additionally, the corporation is setting up stalls at the Padamdev complex, with tenders being invited for setting up booths there as well.
