Kumud Sharma, Diary Times: National secretaries Vidit Chaudhary and Chetan Chauhan have arrived in Shimla to provide feedback to the Congress high command. They are scheduled to attend important meetings today and tomorrow, where they will share their insights and assessments. Upon their arrival, both secretaries were warmly welcomed at the Congress office. The meetings will be attended by several senior leaders, including Congress state president Pratibha Singh, who were present to engage in discussions and strategize on the party’s future course of action.
AICC secretary Chetan Chauhan stated that the upcoming discussions will focus on creating a balance between youth and experience within the party. He emphasized that all key topics, including the “one person, one post” policy, will be thoroughly addressed. Chauhan further added that a new vision for Congress will be formed based on these deliberations. The feedback gathered during this process will be communicated to the national leadership to shape the party’s future direction and strategies.
AICC secretary Chetan Chauhan mentioned that the focus of their discussions will be on revitalizing the dissolved District Congress Committees (DCC) and Block Congress Committees (BCC). He explained that both secretaries have arrived today after consultations with senior leaders to plan the restructuring process. Chauhan assured that any developments arising from these discussions will be shared with the media in due course, keeping the public informed about the progress and changes within the party.

He emphasized that the goal is to ensure a balanced approach when forming the executive committee of the state. He assured that the upcoming decisions will reflect this inclusive approach to leadership.
Chetan Chauhan stated that feedback will also be gathered from the Karyakartas and ground-level leaders in the process of forming the executive committee. He emphasized the importance of involving party workers at all levels to ensure that the leadership is reflective of the needs and aspirations of the grassroots. This inclusive approach, according to Chauhan, will help strengthen the party’s foundation and ensure that the executive committee represents a broad spectrum of voices within the Congress.
Congress to Discuss the Concept of 1 Post, 1 Person in Upcoming Meeting
Chetan Chauhan revealed that the concept of “1 post, 1 person” will be an important topic of discussion in the upcoming meeting. He emphasized that various key issues, including this policy, will be addressed thoroughly.
Chauhan further added that, in line with the aspirations of the top leadership of Himachal, the primary goal this time is to form a restructured and revitalized Congress in the state.
