Kumud Sharma, Diary Times: A sensational revelation has surfaced regarding the ongoing rift between the Sukhu government of Himachal Pradesh’s ruling Congress party and the party organization. The state government had planned a program in Bilaspur district, the hometown of BJP National President JP Nadda, to mark the completion of its two-year tenure. Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu had announced plans to invite All India Congress Party National President Mallikarjun Kharge, along with senior leaders like Priyanka Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, to the event. In preparation for the program, CM Sukhu also convened a meeting with top party leaders from Bilaspur to ensure that all arrangements were in place.

According to the latest reports, Himachal Pradesh Congress President Pratibha Singh and PWD Minister Vikramaditya Singh have not been informed about the upcoming program organized by the state government. State Congress President Pratibha Singh expressed her surprise, stating, “I have no information about this celebration of the government, nor has the Chief Minister or anyone else spoken to me in this regard.” This lack of communication has raised questions about the coordination between the state government and the Congress party leadership.

Pratibha Singh’s statement has brought to light the ongoing rift between the state government and the party organization, highlighting the internal divisions within the Himachal Pradesh Congress. The fact that the state president was not informed about the program suggests a lack of coordination and communication, signaling deeper factionalism within the party. This development points to a growing competition for positions and a clear absence of unity within the Congress government of Himachal Pradesh, raising concerns about its internal cohesion and effectiveness.

Heat in State Politics

The celebration marking the completion of two years in office by the ruling Congress government of Himachal Pradesh has become a hot topic of discussion. This omission has sparked a heated debate, with the opposition seizing on the discord between the top leadership and the state leadership. The lack of communication has raised questions about internal party dynamics and is now a point of contention, further fueling political tensions in the state.
