Welcoming the Supreme Court’s decision to stay the state court’s order to initiate disqualification proceedings against six MLAs appointed as Chief Parliamentary Secretaries (CPS) by the Himachal Pradesh government, Himachal Pradesh CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, while talking to reporters in New Delhi, said that the right decision given by the Supreme Court regarding the CPS case has been given regarding paragraph 50 of the Himachal Pradesh High Court.
CM Sukhu has clearly said that for the Himachal Pradesh government, the important decision of the Supreme Court is a big relief and similarly for further hearing, the state government will present the hearing after doing a detailed analysis.
Opposition is not working in the interest of the state
On the petty politics being done by the Bharatiya Janata Party Himachal Pradesh, CM Sukhu has said that the Bharatiya Janata Party is engaged in inciting useless politics instead of the development of Himachal. CM Sukhu said, regarding the questions being raised by BJP in the CPS case, that it has become a habit for BJP to protest on every issue of the state and as a result, BJP is only raising useless issues like toilet tax and samosa politics.
Attacking BJP, CM Sukhu said that the people of Himachal Pradesh completely boycotted BJP’s ‘Operation Lotus’, the result of which is that today the Congress party is in power with 40 seats in the state assembly.
CM Sukhu, calling the public welfare schemes run during the two-year tenure of his government correct, said that instead of developing the state, BJP is expressing displeasure over every decision of the Congress government because their frustration is clearly visible.
Opposition should raise the issues of the people of the state
CM Sukhu, while advising BJP, said that as the opposition, BJP leaders should do politics on public issues responsibly. The CM said that the present Congress government is working for the welfare of the people of the state, as a result of which, positive changes are being seen in the lives of the backward people of the state in the last two years.
