MP Anurag Thakur criticizes Himachal government, calling its decisions on taxes, cess, and rule violations a source of national embarrassment
Anurag Thakur urges Congress government to reflect on their pre-election promises, questioning the recent decisions being made post-election.
Bilaspur, November 21: MP Anurag Thakur said that the condition of the Himachal government has become such that they do not even know what decisions they are taking. Sometimes the tax on petrol and diesel, water cess and now the attachment of people who violate the rules are becoming a topic of discussion across the country every day. These decisions of the Himachal government are causing embarrassment to the state across the country. Now the situation has become such that it is clearly visible that the water has gone above the head.
During a one-day visit to Bilaspur district, Anurag Thakur said that the Congress government should think about what promises they had made during the elections and what decisions are being taken now after the formation of the government.
The Congress government has been giving priority to the development of Himachal since the beginning. Under this, the railway line is being expanded in Himachal. The work of Bhanupali Bilaspur railway line is going on at a fast pace. Although the state government has to pay 25 percent of this amount, i.e. Rs 1600 crore, and the state government is not paying it, despite this the work is not being stopped. The state government should think about paying its share as soon as possible so that the development of the state does not get hindered.
