Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu congratulates Himachal Pradesh State Load Dispatch Center for winning the Excellence Award 2024
CM Sukhu emphasized the state’s focus on green energy to strengthen the Northern Grid and ensure a reliable power supply to North India.
Shimla, November 21: Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has congratulated the Himachal Pradesh State Load Dispatch Center on being awarded the Excellence Award 2024 by the Secretariat, Forum of Load Dispatchers.
He said that Himachal Pradesh has achieved this remarkable feat for the first time.
The Chief Minister said that Himachal Pradesh has been selected as the best performing state in strengthening the Northern Grid.
This award demonstrates the state’s commitment to excellence in energy management and grid performance. The Chief Minister congratulated the Himachal Pradesh State Load Dispatch Center for its excellent work and expressed hope that the center will ensure to do the best work in future also keeping in mind the interests of the people of the state.
He said that the state government is focusing on harnessing green energy, which will help in strengthening the Northern Grid and ensuring uninterrupted power supply to other states of North India.
