Himachal : Car loses control on Mandi bypass four-lane national highway, crashes into house courtyard near Tunnel 6, Malori; four youths injured
Preliminary reports reveal that the injured youth, a resident of Marathu village in Mandi, met with the accident while returning after dropping a friend near BindraBani tunnel number-7. The police are investigating, and the family has been notified.
Mandi, November 20: A horrific road accident has occurred on the Mandi bypass four-lane national highway, where four youths have been seriously injured due to a car crash.
According to the information, an i20 car (HP 34E 7966) on the bypass four-lane national highway went out of control and broke the roof of a house and fell in the courtyard.
The accident occurred at around 1:30 am near tunnel number-6, Malori.
There were four youths in the car, who were returning from BindraBani.
There was a loud explosion as the car went out of control and fell down, due to which people from nearby areas reached the spot.
The house owner, retired DSP Brahmadas and his wife, retired health worker Saroj Arya immediately helped the injured and provided first aid.
The staff of the fire station located near Suketi Khad reached the spot on hearing the sound and immediately took the injured to the hospital. The condition of one of the four youths is said to be critical. A scooter parked on the roadside was completely damaged due to the collision with the car. Police reached the spot and started investigation.
According to preliminary information, the injured youth is a resident of Marathu village of Mandi. This accident happened when he was returning after dropping one of his friends to a bus near BindraBani tunnel number-7. The family members have been informed about the incident. Police is investigating the matter.
