Shimla, November 20: After the embarrassment caused by the decisions of the Congress government in Himachal and the High court’s orders to close 18 loss-making tourism hotels, BJP MLA Randhir Sharma has launched a strong verbal attack on the Congress government. He said that the kingpins of the mining mafia are in Hamirpur, who have the protection of the Chief Minister. ED’s arrest is proof of this. BJP MLA Randhir Sharma, while addressing a press conference in Shimla, said that the present government of Himachal has failed in every field.

Randhir Sharma said that after the orders to auction Himachal Bhawan, the Chief Minister is blaming the previous government. This government has failed to pay Rs 64 crore. He said that instead of commenting on the judges, information should be taken from the advocates who do not present the government’s side properly in the court. Randhir Sharma alleged that the mafia is dominant in the present government. The two arrests made by ED yesterday from the Chief Minister’s constituency have proved that the mining mafia is being protected by the Chief Minister. He claimed that this government is being run by the mafia.

At the same time, raising questions on the government’s intentions after the court’s orders to close 18 hotels of the Tourism Corporation which are running in loss, he said that the Chief Minister should give clarification on the court’s order to close the hotels of the Tourism Corporation. He said that the Chief Minister is not going to lease these hotels to his friends.
