Shimla, November 19: UMD Miss India Beauty Contest First Runner-up Shinam Azad met Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu here today and shared her experiences of the beauty contest. Shinam Azad hails from Chaithala village in Kotkhai area of Shimla district.
The Chief Minister congratulated her and said that it is a matter of pride for the entire state. The Chief Minister wished her for the future and said that her achievements will become a source of inspiration for the youth of the state. Shinam Azad told the Chief Minister that she won the First Runner-up title on November 10th at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in New Delhi.
Apart from achieving success in the beauty contest, Shinam is also a successful entrepreneur in the travel and real estate sector. She is also a designer and makeup artist. She has attributed her success to her father Dharampal Azad, mother Meera Azad and brother Ritesh Azad. During the meeting with the Chief Minister, Shinam’s uncle RL. Bekta was also present.
