Cabinet: Approval for three new municipal corporations in Himachal, honorarium of multi-task workers increased

Many important decisions were taken in the cabinet meeting chaired by Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu. In the meeting, the formation of three new municipal corporations Hamirpur, Una and Baddi was approved. Apart from this, consensus was also reached on the formation of two new municipal councils and six new nagar panchayats.

Shimla, November 16: Many important decisions were taken in the cabinet meeting chaired by Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu. In the meeting, the formation of three new municipal corporations Hamirpur, Una and Baddi was approved. Apart from this, consensus was also reached on the formation of two new municipal councils and six new nagar panchayats.

Good news for multi-task workers
The cabinet has decided to increase the honorarium of multi-task workers by ₹ 500. Now they will get increased salary.

New initiative in Ayushman Bharat Yojana
The state government has decided to include all the elderly above 70 years of age under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana. Along with this, widows, single and disabled women will be given financial assistance of ₹ 3 lakh to build a house.

E-Taxi initiative under Rajiv Gandhi Startup Yojana

The government has decided to introduce e-taxis in government departments at a fare of Rs 50,000 under the Rajiv Gandhi Startup Yojana.

Approval for recruitment in Hamirpur Medical College

The cabinet has given the green signal to the recruitment of 20 resident doctors in Hamirpur Medical College, which will further strengthen health services.

The government will go to the Supreme Court on the CPS issue

The Chief Parliamentary Secretary (CPS) case was also discussed in the cabinet meeting. The government has decided to challenge the High Court’s decision in the Supreme Court. Revenue Minister Jagat Singh Negi said that the CPS Act was used even during the BJP rule, but now the BJP is calling it unconstitutional. All these decisions will give a new direction to the development of the state and many beneficial initiatives will be started for the general public.
