Satya Parmar, daughter-in-law of Himachal founder and former CM late Thakur Ramlal’s daughter, passes away

Nahan, November 12: Sad news has been received about the death of Satya Parmar, daughter-in-law of Himachal Pradesh’s founder Dr. YS Parmar and daughter of former late Chief Minister Thakur Ramlal. Satya Parmar, wife of former MLA Kush Parmar of Nahan and Paonta Sahib Assembly Constituency, breathed her last on Tuesday morning at the age of 70.

Satya Parmar, daughter of Thakur Ram Lal, who was formerly the Chief Minister of Himachal and Governor of Andhra Pradesh, was a senior Congress leader in Himachal Pradesh. Apart from this, she was also the Vice President of Himachal Pradesh Women’s Social Welfare Board during the tenure of the former Congress government. Late Satya Parmar was a big face of the Women’s Congress of Himachal Pradesh.

Late Satya Parmar always stood with her husband Kush Parmar as a strong pillar in his political life. She was the aunt of Himachal Pradesh Education Minister Rohit Thakur. Satya Parmar was of a very simple and gentle nature. She was always seen meeting people with a big smile. She was unwell for some time and was undergoing treatment. Her death has caused a wave of mourning in the family and society. She has left behind a family of two sons, Chetan and Vivek Parmar.

Satya Parmar always played a supportive role in the political journey of her husband Kush Parmar and especially left no stone unturned in helping the helpless and needy people. Satya Parmar was married to Kush Parmar, son of Himachal Pradesh’s first Chief Minister Dr. YS Parmar. At that time, both the families had a special influence in the politics of the state.

According to the information, Satya Parmar died at Dr. YS Parmar Medical College at 9 am on Tuesday. Her sudden demise has sent a wave of mourning not only in Sirmaur but in the entire state. However, former MLA Kush Parmar himself has been away from politics for some time. Late Satya Parmar’s contribution to Himachal politics and society and her memory will always remain alive in the hearts of the people. According to family information, his body will be cremated at Moksha Dham in Nahan at 3 pm on Tuesday.
