Threat to US security: NATO’s big warning on North Korea-Russia ties

Budapest: NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said on Thursday that the strengthening ties between Russia and North Korea pose a threat not only to European security but also to the United States.

“Russia is giving North Korea the latest technology in exchange for North Korea’s help in the war against Ukraine and this is a threat not only to the European part of NATO but also to the United States,” Rutte said ahead of a meeting with European leaders in Budapest.

“I look forward to sitting down with Donald Trump to discuss how we collectively confront these threats.”
