Farmer’s daughter Karishma will become a lieutenant in the Indian Army, will train in Chennai
Karishma Thakur, daughter of Kothi Gaihri village in Rewalsar, Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh, has achieved a major feat. Born in a simple farmer family, Karishma fulfilled her dream of becoming a lieutenant by passing the difficult Indian Army exam. Her success has not only increased the prestige of the family but the entire region.
Mandi, November 06: Karishma Thakur, daughter of Kothi Gaihri village in Rewalsar, Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh, has achieved a major feat. Born in a simple farmer family, Karishma fulfilled her dream of becoming a lieutenant by passing the difficult Indian Army exam. Her success has not only increased the prestige of the family but the entire region.

Karishma completed her early education in the government school of the village and after that obtained a bachelor’s degree from Vallabh Government College Mandi. Currently she is studying the final year of postgraduate. Her dream of becoming an officer in the Indian Army came true through the National Cadet Corps (NCC), and now she will start her training at the Officer Training Academy in Chennai in December.

Karishma’s parents, Drumati Devi and brother Tanuj have expressed happiness over this achievement.
Karishma has attributed her success to her family and teachers. She gave a message to the youth that if one stays true and dedicated towards the goal, success is certain. There is an atmosphere of celebration in his village due to his success.
