2025 Triumph Speed Twin 900 unveiled; coming to India soon
The Triumph Speed Twin 900 now features updates to the suspension and features as well as a new colour scheme.
After launching the updated Speed Twin 1200 last month, Triumph Motorcycles has now unveiled the 2025 Speed Twin 900. The new modern classic motorcycle features a few changes to the suspension and features as well as a new colour scheme. First up, the 2025 Speed Twin 900 now features non-adjustable Marzocchi USD forks at the front, an upgrade from the regular telescopic and gaiter forks on the older model. At the rear is a Marzocchi piggy-back monoshock mounted on a stiffer, lighter, aluminium swingarm. The rear suspension now has 110mm of travel, which is 10mm less than before.
The motorcycle is now fitted with Michelin Road Classic tyres, and will continue to get the same alloys as before. Triumph has also introduced a larger 320mm disc at the front instead of the 310mm disc on the earlier model, which is gripped by a Triumph caliper. Other updates include a new LED headlight, new switchgear, and a new TFT instrument console, all of which are borrowed from its bigger sibling Speed Twin 1200. The seat height of the motorcycle has now been increased to 780mm from the earlier 765mm. But Triumph will offer an accessory seat that will bring the height back to 760mm.
Talking about the engine, the motorcycle gets a 900cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin motor. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox and will continue to get two riding modes – Road and Rain – as before. The instrument console gets Bluetooth connectivity along with controls for calls, music, and turn-by-turn navigation. Triumph offers 120 accessories for the Speed Twin 900, including heated grips and cruise control. A Type-C USB charger is standard fitment.
For colour options, customers can choose from a pure white scheme with bright blue and orange stripes on the tank, a phantom black tank with dark grey stripes and gold accents, or an aluminium silver design with red splashes adorning the Triumph logo.
The Speed Twin 400 is priced at GBP 9,195, which is £400 more than the older model. The motorcycle is also available for sale in India, and is currently priced at around ₹ 8.49 lakh (ex-showroom). We expect the 2025 Speed Twin 900 to be launched in India later this year or early next year.
