Royal Enfield launches limited edition 1:3 scale models of Classic 500
First showcased at Motoverse 2022, Royal Enfield is back with its 1:3 scale models, which will go on flash sale on October 15, 2024.
In November 2022, Royal Enfield launched its very real 1:3 scale models for the first time and now the company is again launching scale models, which are based on the Classic 500. The new scale models will be offered in seven colours – Chrome Black, Maroon Chrome, Forest Green Chrome, Teal Green, Battle Green, Gun Grey and Jet Black. The Royal Enfield Classic scale model is priced at ₹ 94,990. When first launched in 2022, the scale model was priced at ₹ 67,990.
Commenting on the launch, Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Chief Commercial Officer, Royal Enfield, said, “The 1:3 scale models initially started as an internal passion project with no commercial intent. What started as a tribute to our love for motorcycling has evolved into a unique offering and a collection item for those who truly appreciate the Royal Enfield story and legacy. On popular demand, we are delighted to announce the re-introduction of these scaled models and honour the spirit of pure motorcycling cherished by our community.”
The scale models feature excellent attention to detail, with 964 components used, and numerous moving parts. Each hand-built model weighs 8.5 kg and features wire-spoke wheels, a peashooter exhaust, and a rider-only seat with springs using materials sourced directly from the actual motorcycle. The models measure 780 mm in length, 380 mm in width, and 261 mm in height.
These limited edition models are now on sale and if you want one for around ₹ 1 lakh then you can head over to Royal Enfield’s website and buy it before the stock runs out.
