OnePlus 13 teased to feature wireless charging like Apple’s MagSafe
The OnePlus 13 is expected to launch in China this month and ahead of its official unveiling, a senior OnePlus official has confirmed that it will support magnetic wireless charging.
OnePlus is gearing up to launch its next flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 13, in China this month. It will be the successor to the OnePlus 12 and will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, which is slated to launch later this month. Earlier, the Chinese smartphone brand revealed the display details of the device.
Now, OnePlus President and COO Kinder Liu shared a screenshot on Weibo and confirmed that the OnePlus 13 will come with magnetic wireless charging support. He added that OnePlus 13 customers will be able to buy a ‘wood grain phone case’ with support for ‘magnetic suction’, confirming magnetic wireless charging support similar to the iPhones and their MagSafe cases.
Previous leaks revealed that the OnePlus 13 will get a 6,000mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging support. The smartphone is also expected to get a 6.82-inch 2K 10-bit LTPO BOE X2 Micro Quad Curved OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. The OnePlus 13 is also rumoured to have up to 24GB of RAM.
Talking about optics, the OnePlus 13 is expected to have a 50MP Sony LYT-808 primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom support. The phone is expected to make its global debut along with its India launch early next year.
