Shimla, September 15: Hindi Day was organized in Government Degree College Chail Koti, which was presided over by the college’s Principal Dr. Deepshikha Bhardwaj. She said that every year 14 September is celebrated as Hindi Day in the whole of India, since on 14 September 1949, Hindi language was given the status of official language.

She shared her views with all the students and said that making Hindi the language of the whole of India is yet to happen. We should be proud and not ashamed in speaking Hindi language.

On this occasion, competitions like slogan writing, poetry recitation, speech competition, quiz etc. were organized. All the students participated enthusiastically in these competitions. They expressed their respect and feelings towards Hindi through speeches, poems and slogan writing.

On this occasion, political science professor Dr. Devendra Sharma presented a logical and realistic analysis on the language question and language dispute in India from a political point of view.

He said that in a diverse country like India, it is necessary that all languages ​​are viewed with respect. The 22 languages ​​mentioned in the constitution should be respected. It is necessary to save the Hindi language from politics and the arrogant attitude of the people.

Program coordinator Bobija Sharma, while presenting her views on the subject of Hindi, said that language is the one that connects us and Hindi is doing that job very well. Bobija Sharma expressed her gratitude to all the professors, parents, non-professors and all the students for making the program a success.
