Muslim community submits memorandum to Municipal Corporation regarding illegal construction of mosque in Sanjauli

Shimla, September 12: Muslim community has submitted a memorandum to Municipal Corporation Commissioner and requested to demolish the illegal mosque construction in Sanjauli, Shimla. On this initiative, Urban MLA Harish Janartha expressed gratitude to the people of Muslim community and said that Muslim community has taken initiative to end a political issue in a humane manner and today people of Muslim community have submitted a memorandum to Municipal Corporation Commissioner and requested to demolish the illegal construction.

MLA said, “The initiative taken by Muslim community to solve a sensitive issue is commendable. This issue was made a political issue earlier and it was increasing. The kind of violent protest seen in Sanjauli yesterday is very sad and during this mothers, sisters and children were very troubled.

Harish Janartha also urged Hindu organizations not to give much importance to this issue. Apart from this, the MLA said that verification of people coming from outside states is being done and strict guidelines have been issued to the officials.
