Sundernagar, September 10: Slate-roofed house of three brothers burnt to ashes in Masheran village of Paurakothi Gram Panchayat of Nihari Tehsil of Mandi district. This incident occurred around 12:00 in the night. By the time the fire was brought under control, everything had been burnt to ashes. The three brothers have suffered a loss of lakhs of rupees due to the fire in the house, And the damage caused by the fire is being assessed by the department.

According to the information, the fire broke out in Masheran village of Paurakothi when the whole family was sleeping at home. As soon as one of the family members came to know about the fire, he immediately asked all the members to come out of the house. As soon as the incident was known, the local people also reached the spot but by then the entire house of 16 rooms had been burnt to ashes.

The family of Indra Dev, Raghu Nath and Ramesh Kumar lived in the house. After the incident, the family members are left with only clothes to wear and everything else has been burnt to ashes. It is being told that the three brothers were taking care of their family by working as laborers, now due to the incident of arson, a mountain of sorrow has fallen on them. As soon as the information was received, the department team also reached the spot and started assessing the damage caused by the fire, And the police is also investigating the matter.

Giving information, Red Cross Society Mandi’s Social Emergency Response Volunteer Dil Ram said that the house caught fire around 12 o’clock at night, due to which the whole house has been burnt to ashes. Dil Ram told that there were 16 rooms in the house and 16 members lived there. He told that the family has suffered a loss of lakhs of rupees due to the incident of arson, which is being assessed by the department. Confirming the matter, DSP Sundernagar Bharat Bhushan said that the police team and the local administration are investigating the matter.
