Mandi: Three youths of Dharampur arrested with 7.73 grams of chitta
The youths have been identified as Rahul alias Sabbu (31) son of Pawan Kumar Dharampur, Shashipal (30) son of Prakash Chand Dharampur, Amit Sharma (24) son of Vinod Kumar Dharampur.
Mandi, August 30: During a check post at Fatehpur Panchayat headquarters of Sarkaghat subdivision of the Mandi district, police have detained three youths of Dharampur subdivision.
According to the information received, police had set up a check post in Fatehpur on the basis of a secret information. During this time, a black Alto car was seen from Ghumarwin. When police signaled to stop the car, the driver started running but after a short distance, police stopped the car and saw that three youths were sitting in the car. Police took them out of the car and searched the car.
On searching, chitta was recovered from the dashboard of the car, which was found to be 7.73 grams on weighing. Police registered a case and took the three youths into custody. The youths have been identified as Rahul alias Sabbu (31) son of Pawan Kumar Dharampur, Shashipal (30) son of Prakash Chand Dharampur, Amit Sharma (24) son of Vinod Kumar Dharampur.
DSP Sanjeev Gautam confirmed this and said that the police have taken the three youths into custody and started investigation.
