Una: Four youths arrested with 15 grams of chitta

Una, August 21: Police arrested four youths with about 15 grams of chitta in Pandoga and Thaneek pura of the Una district. The accused arrested in Pandoga have been identified as Pawan Kumar resident of Juani Ropa district Kullu and Ravi Kumar Negi village Chhatan Seri district Kullu. The accused arrested in Chintpurni have been identified as Lucky Chaudhary and Ajay Chaudhary resident of Dharamshala, district Kangra.

The first case is of Pandoga, where police recovered 8.68 grams of chitta from two youths. Haroli police was present in Pandoga late on Tuesday evening. On the basis of secret information, police searched a car. Police recovered 8.68 grams of chitta from car riders Pawan Kumar and Ravi Kumar resident of Kullu. Police arrested both of them for possessing narcotic substances. The second case is of Thaneek pura of Chintpurni, where police recovered 6.50 grams of chitta. Chintpurni police was on patrol late Tuesday evening.

During this time, on the basis of secret information, police searched a car. During the search, chitta was recovered from Lucky Chaudhary and Ajay Chaudhary, residents of Dharamshala, district Kangra.

Superintendent of Police Una Rakesh Singh said that police has registered a case against the four on the charge of possessing chitta and has started investigation. Further action is being taken.
