Una: 28-year-old youth swallows poisonous substance, dies
A 28-year-old youth in Basdehra under police station Mehatpur swallowed poisonous substance due to unknown reason. The youth was referred to PGI Chandigarh from Regional Hospital Una in critical condition. The police has also started investigating the case.
Una, August 21: A 28-year-old youth in Basdehra under police station Mehatpur swallowed poisonous substance due to unknown reason. The youth was referred to PGI Chandigarh from Regional Hospital Una in critical condition. The police has also started investigating the case.
According to the information, Davinder Singh, resident of Ward No. 5 Basdehra, consumed some poisonous substance at home late on Tuesday evening. When his health deteriorated, the family members took the youth to Regional Hospital Una, from where he was referred to PGI Chandigarh due to his critical condition.
ASP Una Sanjeev Bhatia said that the police is investigating the matter.
