Former General Secretary of Sirmour Press Club and senior journalist Surat Pundir mourns the demise of his father
Maniram Pundir, father of former General Secretary of Sirmour Press Club and senior journalist Surat Pundir, passed away in the wee hours of Monday. He was 86 years old and a leading farmer by profession.

Nahan, August 05: Maniram Pundir, father of former General Secretary of Sirmour Press Club and senior journalist Surat Pundir, passed away in the wee hours of Monday. He was 86 years old and a leading farmer by profession. Mani Ram Pundir was healthy till the last days of his life, but was unwell for the last few days. He died at home in his native village Dugana in sub-division Kafota.
He was unwell for the last one week. He died around 5 am. Late Mani Ram Pundir has left behind a full family of four sons and three daughters.
His younger son and senior journalist Surat Pundir said that his last rites will be performed in Dugana village in the afternoon. The family and people of the area are mourning this tragic incident and are remembering the contributions of late Mani Ram Pundir.
