Shimla, 03 August: Once again, there is a complete ban on transfers in government departments in Himachal Pradesh. Sukhu government has completely banned the transfer of employees from August 5, i.e. Monday. Orders have been issued by the government on Saturday regarding this. There will be a complete ban in government departments till further orders. Transfers will be possible only in special circumstances with the approval of Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu. That is, if an employee has to be transferred, then the order and permission of the Chief Minister will be necessary for that.

Administrative secretaries of all departments, department heads, district deputy commissioners and sub-divisional commissioners have been instructed to strictly follow the orders. The purpose of the ban on transfer of employees is to ensure stability and continuity in government work. Also, this decision will promote transparency and accountability in government work.

Let us tell you that there is a crowd of employees in the state secretariat to get transfers done. Most of the cases come in the education department. The state government had recently decided in a cabinet meeting to ban the transfer of teachers in the middle of the academic session. After this, the transfer of teachers was banned from August 1. Now transfers have been banned in all departments.
