Shimla, 24 July: Paragliding World Cup will be organized in Bir Billing, Kangra from 2 to 9 November. This time the World Cup will be organized as a fest.CM Sukhu attended the promo release ceremony organized by the Paragliding Association in Shimla as the chief guest and released the promo and shared detailed information about the event. Bir Billing Valley of Himachal Pradesh, famous for paragliding, has got the opportunity to host the Paragliding World Cup for the second time.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that the government has declared Kangra as the tourism capital and the government is also working in this direction. The state government has given tourism the first priority. The government is going to build heliports in every district headquarters. The work of heliports in Palampur, Chamba and Shimla will be completed soon.

He reiterated his goal of making Himachal self-reliant by 2027 and said that the government is working to make Himachal self-reliant. Organizing the Paragliding World Cup in Bir Billing will promote Himachal’s tourism worldwide.

At the same time, the Chief Minister avoided the question of attending the NITI Aayog meeting and said that attending the meeting or not is a different matter, but Himachal Pradesh needs to use its resources properly. So that Himachal can stand on its own feet and the government is taking many decisions in this direction.
