Himachal News: Bike rider dies on the spot after being hit by a tipper
A bike rider died after being hit by a tipper in Pawada, a border village of Gagret subdivision of Una district of Himachal Pradesh. The deceased has been identified as Paramjeet resident Pawada.
Una, July 20: A bike rider died after being hit by a tipper in Pawada, a border village of Gagret subdivision of Una district of Himachal Pradesh. The deceased has been identified as Paramjeet resident Pawada. As soon as the information of the incident was received, the Gagret police team reached the spot and registered a case and started further action.
According to the information, a tipper was carrying mining material from Baroh village of Gagret to Pawada. During this, a bike coming from the opposite direction got hit by the tipper. According to eyewitnesses, the motorcyclist was going at a high speed. The important thing was that the motorcyclist Paramjeet did not use a helmet. Due to which he suffered a head injury and died on the spot.
The police team took the body into custody and sent it to the Regional Hospital Una for post-mortem. DSP Dr. Vasudha Sood confirmed the case and said that the Gagret police has registered a case and started further action.
