Shimla News: Fake agreement made to grab land, FIR registered

Shimla, July 15: With the intention of grabbing the land, a person made a fake agreement of the land by committing fraud. In this case, the victim has lodged an FIR of fraud against the accused. The entire case has come to light in the New Shimla Police Station area of the capital of Himachal Pradesh. New Shimla Police Station has started investigating the entire fraud case. The accused has not been arrested yet.

Singhi Ram, a resident of New Shimla, in a complaint to the New Shimla Police Station in-charge, has said that Bhupinderjit Kashyap, a resident of Lower Bazar, has made a fake agreement to sell the property, whereas there has never been any agreement between the parties to sell this property by Bhupinderjit Kashyap. The accused is not the owner of the land and he has done all this fraud with the intention of occupying the land and selling it.
According to the complainant Singhi Ram, he contacted Bhupinderjit Kashyap through his friend due to the need of money and took a loan of Rs 10 lakh from Bhupinderjit which he returned. Later he again took a loan of Rs 10 lakh from Bhupinder Kashyap. Singhi Ram said that he belongs to the Scheduled Caste.
Singhi Ram alleged that Bhupinderjit Kashyap cheated him by making a fake agreement to grab his property. However, New Shimla Police has registered a case under fraud and Scheduled Caste, Tribe Act and action is being taken.
