For the first time in Himachal, members of three generations arrested with 24 lakh cash and consignment of drugs including charas-opium-heroin

Nahan, July 15: The Special detection cell team of Sirmour district police administration has made a big strike against drug abuse. The Special detection cell team of Sirmour police raided the house of 71-year-old Prem Chand in Valmiki Nagar of the Nahan city and recovered 24 lakh 40 thousand rupees along with a consignment of narcotic capsules, charas, opium and chitta.

According to the concrete information received by the news agency, the entire operation was being carried out by the team of Special Detection Cell of Sirmour District Police Administration till midnight. Sirmour Police arrested 71-year-old Prem Chand.
The most surprising thing is that Prem Chand’s 44-year-old son and 21-year-old grandson were also involved in this drug business. It seems that the drug business was adopted from generation to generation.
Sirmour District Police Administration Superintendent Raman Kumar Meena confirmed that strict action against the drug mafia will continue. No one can be tolerated in this.

The team of Special Detection Cell of Sirmour District Police Administration has identified the accused as 71-year-old Prem Chand son of late Bachana Ram, 44-year-old Sagar son of Prem Chand, and 21-year-old Sangram alias Anshul son of Sagar, all residents of House No. 372/11, Red Cross Road, Near Petrol Pump, Valmiki Basti, Nahan.

The team of Special Detection Cell of Sirmour District Police Administration has recovered 336 Spasmax Tramadol capsules, 159.80 grams of hashish, 38.10 grams of opium, 23.34 grams of heroin (chitta) and cash worth Rs 24 lakh 40 thousand from the possession of the accused.
