Mandi, July 10: Dhandev, a resident of Balh in Mandi district, is missing for the last 16 days after the building was evacuated after a fire broke out in the workers’ residential building in Kuwait.

Dhandev, a resident of Barsu in Balh subdivision, was working as a motor mechanic in Kuwait for the last 7 years. Dhandev used to visit home from time to time. Dhandev went to Kuwait to work 9 months ago after his father’s death last year.

Dhandev’s family members said that after the fire, the building was being evacuated by the Kuwait government, so on June 22, Dhandev told them that he would send them tickets. On June 24, Dhandev called again and refused to send the tickets and from that day onwards his number was switched off. After Dhandev’s contact was not available, his family members are crying and inconsolably.
