Himachal: A total of 74166 voters cast their votes in the by-election of Nalagarh assembly constituency, 79.04 percent voting

Solan, July 10: District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner Manmohan Sharma said that the voting process was completed peacefully in Nalagarh today under the by-election of 51-Nalagarh assembly constituency. Long queues were seen at the polling booths in Nalagarh since morning to cast votes. Out of a total of 93,831 voters in the Nalagarh assembly constituency, 74166 exercised their franchise, which included 36310 women, 37854 men and 02 third gender voters. Till the last information was received in the Nalagarh assembly constituency, the total voting was about 79.04 percent.

Earlier, till 09.00 am, 16.47 percent voting was recorded in the Nalagarh assembly constituency. Out of these, 18.97 male voters and 18.97 female voters cast their votes.

Till 11.00 am, 34.55 percent voting was recorded in Nalagarh Assembly Constituency. Out of these, 36.74 male voters and 32.26 female voters cast their votes.

Till 03.00 pm, 63.73 percent voting was recorded. Out of these, 62.67 male voters, 64.83 female voters and 33.33 voters of other category cast their votes.

Till 05.00 pm, 74.98 percent voting was recorded in Nalagarh Assembly constituency. Out of these, 74.29% male voters, 75.71% female voters and 66.67% voters of other categories cast their votes.

By the end of voting, a total of 79.04% voting was recorded in Nalagarh Assembly constituency. Out of these, 78.94% male, 79.15% female and 66.67% third gender voters cast their votes.
