Local people say that the company engaged in the construction of the four-lane has not paid any attention to the proper maintenance of the roads, due to which they have to face these problems. People have appealed to the Mandi district administration, NHAI and the company management to remove this water with immediate effect and make proper provision for water drainage here.
It is worth noting that apart from the 9 miles between Mandi and Pandoh, there are many other places where waterlogging occurs even after a little rain and the highway turns into a pond. This problem arises due to the lack of any provision for drainage here.
