Kinnaur: Deputy Commissioner Dr. Amit Kumar Sharma launched Stop Diarrhea Campaign-2024 from Regional Hospital Reckong Peo
Dr. Indu Sharma said that these free medical camps are being organized as per the proposed departmental calendar under the Vibrant Village program.
Kinnaur, July 01: On Monday, Deputy Commissioner of Kinnaur District Administration Dr. Amit Kumar Sharma launched the Stop Diarrhea Campaign-2024, which was started in the tribal district of Kinnaur along with the entire country, from the Regional Hospital, Reckong Peo.
On this occasion, Dr. Amit Kumar Sharma called upon the officials of the Health Department to make every effort to make Stop Diarrhea Campaign-2024 a success and go from village to village to make people aware about diarrhea.He especially emphasized on providing clean drinking water to children so that they do not suffer from water-borne diseases.
On this occasion, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Sonam Negi welcomed Deputy Commissioner Dr. Amit Kumar Sharma on his arrival at the Regional Hospital, Reckong Peo and provided him information regarding the Stop Diarrhea Campaign.

Apart from this, a one-day free Ayurvedic medical camp will be organized by the AYUSH department on July 09 in the Devi Mata Mandir premises located in Chitkul Gram Panchayat of Kalpa development block. This information was given by Kinnaur District AYUSH Officer Dr. Indu Sharma at the Regional Hospital Reckong Peo on Monday.
Dr. Indu Sharma said that in the medical camp, a team of doctors and paramedical staff will provide free treatment to the local people for various types of diseases which will include eye diseases, rheumatism, piles, complex, chronic and incurable diseases.
Along with this, free Ayurvedic medicines will also be distributed to the local people.

On this occasion, District Health Officer Dr. Kaviraj Negi, Principal DIET Kuldeep Negi and other officers were present.
