Himachal News: Disaster Management Authority has issued instructions to all the departments of the state to remain prepared for all situations in alert mode under the Disaster Management Act

All preparations have been completed by the disaster management to deal with any possible damage due to heavy rains in Himachal Pradesh.

Shimla, June 30: The arrival of monsoon in Himachal Pradesh has started wreaking havoc. The heartbreaking natural disaster that occurred during the monsoon in Himachal Pradesh in the year 2023 had caused devastation everywhere, but all preparations have been completed by the disaster management for the monsoon of the year 2024.

The Disaster Management Authority has issued instructions to all the departments of the state to remain prepared for all situations in alert mode under the Disaster Management Act.

Along with this, additional forces of NDRF, SDRF, Himachal Pradesh Police and Home Guard have been deployed in accident prone areas to deal with adverse conditions.

Member Secretary and Additional Chief Secretary of Himachal Pradesh Disaster Management Authority Omkar Chand Sharma said that monsoon has started wreaking havoc in Himachal Pradesh.

All preparations have been completed by the disaster management to deal with any possible damage due to heavy rains in Himachal Pradesh.

He said that an important meeting was held with the representatives of all the departments of the state on June 13 regarding the preparations even before the pre-monsoon entered Himachal Pradesh.

In an important meeting of the Himachal Pradesh Disaster Management Authority, all departments have been instructed to remain on alert under the Disaster Management Act.

Although the Meteorological Center has predicted less damage due to the impact of monsoon in Himachal Pradesh in the year 2024, but all the district administrations and the Himachal Pradesh government are fully prepared for any emergency situation.Omkar Chand Sharma said that NDRF, SDRF, Police and Home Guard personnel have already been deployed in accident prone areas to deal with any possible accident.
