Shimla, 26 June: A yellow alert has been issued for heavy rain, thunderstorm and lightning in Himachal Pradesh from 28 to 30 June. According to the update of Meteorological Center Shimla, there is a possibility of heavy rain in 90 percent parts of Himachal Pradesh from 28 to 30 June, due to which an orange alert has also been issued.

With heavy rains, the temperature of the state will fall drastically.

According to the Meteorological Department, monsoon is going to enter Himachal Pradesh as soon as the month of July begins, due to which the difficulties of the common people are going to increase in the hill state after the rains start.

Senior scientist of Meteorological Center Shimla, Sandeep Kumar Sharma said that after the pre-monsoon ends from 28 June to 2 July, the state is going to suffer a lot due to heavy monsoon rains.

The Meteorological Center Shimla has issued an orange alert of heavy rains in many parts of seven districts of the state, Solan, Shimla, Sirmaur, Kangra, Mandi, Chamba, Bilaspur, warning people in advance. Also, people have been asked to be cautious before going to landslide prone areas, rivers, drains.
