A crash barrier could have saved the life of tractor driver Ratna Sing –

The demand for installing parapet or crash barrier near Senior Secondary School Bagla in view of the accidents has been raised by the local people for a long time, but the administration is not paying any attention to it.

Gram Panchayat Barsu Pradhan Govind Ram and Senior Secondary School Bagla SMC Pradhan Lokendra Singh said that many times Mandi District Administration and NHAI were asked to install parapet or crash barrier at the accident spot, written correspondence was also done many times but no hearing took place anywhere. If there were crash barriers today, the tractor would not have fallen down and the accident could have been easily avoided. Hundreds of children use this route for school every day and there is also a danger of children falling.

Let us tell you that the culvert at the turn of the four-lane to Bagla-Barsu road is not being widened And neither are drainage drains being built by the administration for the garbage here. Village Panchayat Barsu’s Pradhan Govind Ram and Senior Secondary School Bagla’s SMC Pradhan Lokendra Singh have raised the demand of Mandi District Administration and NHAI in a strict tone to get these works done as soon as possible.

It is worth mentioning that a cow had also died some time ago from the place where the tractor fell. Despite this, the administration is not paying any attention to the demands of the people.
