Himachal News: Himachal Pradesh State Selection Commission does not have any company to conduct CBT exam for recruitments
Let us tell you that earlier the names of two companies had come up in the tender process by Himachal Pradesh State Selection Commission for conducting CBT but this tender could not be completed.
Shimla, June 23: Himachal Pradesh State Selection Commission has sought permission from the Himachal Pradesh government to conduct a Computer Based Test (CBT) based examination in class three recruitment as well.
Due to by-elections on three assembly seats of Himachal Pradesh, the Election Commission has implemented the Model Code of Conduct these days.
In such a situation, a proposal has been sent by the Himachal Pradesh State Selection Commission to the Himachal Pradesh government for approval to restart the tender process to decide whether a new agency should be hired to conduct the CBT or not.
Let us tell you that earlier the names of two companies had come up in the tender process by Himachal Pradesh State Selection Commission for conducting CBT but this tender could not be completed.
Now Himachal Pradesh State Selection Commission has also sought permission from the Himachal Pradesh government for nomination or retendering in this tender.
It is worth mentioning that after the cabinet meeting, there is pressure on Himachal Pradesh State Selection Commission to conduct many recruitment examinations at once. Therefore, Himachal Pradesh State Selection Commission has proposed to the Himachal Pradesh government that till the tender is finalized, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) should be given the responsibility of conducting CBT.

Let us tell you that at present CBTs of other agencies are also being successfully organized by Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) company. Also, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has online nodes in Himachal Pradesh, But the final decision to conduct CBT for the entire recruitment is in the hands of the Himachal Pradesh government and after the notification is issued, it will be known how much more time the Himachal Pradesh State Selection Commission will take to complete the retendering process.
Now the CBT of Group Instructor, Technical Education Recruitment Examination is to be conducted by Himachal Pradesh State Selection Commission.The result of JOA IT 817 has also not been finalized yet.
The youth waiting for the result say that Himachal Pradesh State Selection Commission does not have any company to conduct CBT, Due to which Himachal Pradesh government will have to complete the tender process soon.
