Himachal: 2 youths died on the spot after Thar vehicle lost control and fell into Ravi river, one in critical condition

The Chamba Police Station In-charge has identified the deceased in the Thar accident as Thar driver Divyanshu son Santosh Kumar village Bhagwanpura, Chamba and Jandu resident Rajasthan as well as the seriously injured youth Divyam son Ajay Kumar, village Sarol.

Chamba, June 22: A heartbreaking accident has come to light in Sarol on Friday night in Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh. In which two youths died after the Thar vehicle fell into the Ravi river, while the condition of one youth is said to be critical.

Chamba Police Station in-charge said that the entire incident took place near Chamba Medical College, Sarol, in which the Thar vehicle suddenly went out of control and fell 200 feet below the road into the Ravi River. Out of the three people travelling in the Thar vehicle, two died on the spot and the condition of the injured youth is said to be critical in the hospital.

As soon as the information about the entire accident was received, the Chamba Police Station In-charge and his team reached Chamba Medical College, Sarol and an injured youth was taken to Chamba Medical College for treatment, where the condition of the youth is said to be critical.

The Chamba Police Station In-charge has identified the deceased in the Thar accident as Thar driver Divyanshu son Santosh Kumar village Bhagwanpura, Chamba and Jandu resident Rajasthan as well as the seriously injured youth Divyam son Ajay Kumar, village Sarol.

The Chamba Police Station In-charge said that at present the reasons for the Thar accident are being ascertained. Also, the bodies of Divyanshu and Jandu have been handed over to the family after post-mortem, the entire case has been registered and investigation has been started.
