HPU two-day alumni program: 600 alumni who studied in the 90s from India and abroad will participate, CM Sukhu will inaugurate

Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Shimla, June 15 :All the alumni who studied at Himachal Pradesh University in the 90s and earned a name for themselves in the country and abroad will gather for a grand reunion on June 15.

The two-day alumni program organized by HPU is going to be inaugurated on Saturday by the Honorable Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu.600 alumni who studied in the 90s from the country and abroad have reached the two-day alumni program.

The HPU administration has organized an alumni program once before, but this time the alumni program is being organized on the initiative of the alumni, which started from a WhatsApp group in the month of September 2023.In the month of March 2024, fifty alumni reached HPU and prepared the outline of organizing the alumni program.

Today, on June 15, the process of registration of alumni living in the country and abroad was started by naming the day as Maitri Sammelan.CM Sukhu is also an alumnus of HPU from the nineties.

The CM also addressed the meeting of the Governing Body of the Decadal Chapter of the 90s Alumni from Oakover through Google Meet and invited all the alumni living in the country and abroad for the alumni program, and also assured to provide all kinds of arrangements to all the alumni on their arrival in Himachal Pradesh.
