Himachal News: A person died during treatment at IVY Hospital Hoshiarpur due to swallowing poisonous substance

Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Una, June 14 :A 39-year-old man died after swallowing poisonous substance in ward number one of Amb subdivision of Una district of Himachal Pradesh.The deceased person has been identified by the Amb police station in-charge as Sanjeev Katwal, son of Kuldeep Katwal, resident of Amb.

The Amb police station in-charge has taken the body of the deceased Sanjeev Katwal in his custody and handed it over to the family after post-mortem. Along with this, the entire case has been registered and investigation has been started by the Amb police station in-charge and his team.

Amb police station in-charge said that Sanjeev Katwal, a resident of subdivision Amb, swallowed poisonous substance kept in the house on Thursday late evening without telling anyone, after which Sanjeev Katwal’s health suddenly deteriorated and Sanjeev Katwal was brought to Amb hospital by his family members, where his condition deteriorated and Sanjeev Katwal was taken to IVY Hospital, Hoshiarpur by his relatives, but Sanjeev Katwal died during treatment at IVY Hospital, Hoshiarpur.

DSP Amb Vasudha Sood said that every aspect of the case is being investigated thoroughly by the Amb police station in-charge.
