Khattar, Chouhan, Bandi, Bittu confirmed to be ministers in NDA-3

According to sources, senior BJP leaders like Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari, Piyush Goyal, Ashwini Vaishnav and Mansukh Mandaviya are considered certain to be included in NDA-3.

Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Shimla, June 09 :BJP leaders Manohar Lal Khattar, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Bandi Sanjay Kumar and Ravneet Singh Bittu have been confirmed as new faces in the Union Council of Ministers, all of whom are set to take oath along with Narendra Modi, who is set to take oath for the third time as PM on Sunday evening.

According to sources, senior BJP leaders like Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari, Piyush Goyal, Ashwini Vaishnav and Mansukh Mandaviya are considered certain to be included in NDA-3.

BJP leader Jyotiraditya Scindia and MPs Jitin Prasada from Uttar Pradesh and Raksha Khadse from Maharashtra are also going to be made ministers in NDA-3. Raksha Khadse from Maharashtra confirmed that he is going to be a minister in NDA-3.Several BJP leaders met PM Modi at his official residence.

There have been calls for TDP’s Ram Mohan Naidu and Chandrasekhar Pemmasani and JD-U’s Lallan Singh and Ram Nath Thakur as well as Chirag Paswan, Jitan Ram Manjhi, HD Kumaraswamy and Jayant Chaudhary to be made ministers.

Bittu, grandson of former Punjab chief minister Beant Singh, lost the Lok Sabha elections but in the name of Beant Singh and to strengthen the BJP in Punjab, Bittu may be made a minister in NDA-3.

Telangana MPs Bandi Sanjay Kumar and G Kishan Reddy have met PM Modi at his residence together and according to sources, both may be made ministers in NDA-3.

However, the list of probable ministers has not been officially released.

While selecting ministers, the BJP will also have to keep in mind the defeat it suffered in its strongholds Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra.
