CM Sukhu: NHAI, Ministry of Surface Transport and HPPWD should complete all the developmental projects of the state with quality within the stipulated time frame
CM Sukhu has also given special instructions to the officials of the three departments present in the review meeting to complete the project within the stipulated time frame while ensuring quality in the works of all the developmental projects going on in the state.
Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Shimla, June 07 :Hon’ble Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh Shri Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu reviewed the work of various four-lane projects and other ongoing road projects being constructed by National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), Ministry of Surface Transport and Himachal Pradesh Public Works Department (HPPWD) in Himachal Pradesh with the officials.
CM Sukhu has also given special instructions to the officials of the three departments present in the review meeting to complete the project within the stipulated time frame while ensuring quality in the works of all the developmental projects going on in the state.
CM Sukhu said that the work of construction of Shimla to Nauni road is going to be started after the end of the monsoon season of the year 2024 and the work of construction of Shimla to Nauni road will be completed by September 2026.
The CM directed the officials to complete the construction work of Pinjore-Nalagarh-Baddi four-lane within the stipulated time frame as soon as possible so that the industries in the industrial area can get the benefit of four-lane.CM Sukhu said that the construction work project of Pinjore-Nalagarh-Baddi four-lane will be completed by the end of the year 2025.
The CM has also taken updates on the Shimla bypass project, Shimla-Solan four lane and Mandi-Hamirpur as well as widening and strengthening of Paonta-Shilai roads.CM Sukhu also assured full cooperation from the Himachal Pradesh government to complete all the projects within the stipulated time frame.
Public Works Minister Vikramaditya Singh, Chief Secretary Prabodh Saxena, Additional Chief Secretary Omkar Chand Sharma, Principal Secretaries Devesh Kumar and Amandeep Garg, Secretary to the Chief Minister Rakesh Kanwar, NHAI Regional Officer Abdul Basit, Chief Engineer of Public Works Department N.P. Singh and other senior officials were present in the review meeting.
