In all four Lok Sabha seats of Himachal Pradesh- Hamirpur, Mandi, Shimla and Kangra, BJP candidates have dominated and the Congress candidate has suffered a defeat.It is also clearly visible in the trends that in all four parliamentary constituencies, BJP candidates had taken a decisive lead from the very beginning and the Congress candidates were not even seen in the contest. BJP candidates have won a landslide victory on two hot seats of Himachal Pradesh, Mandi and Hamirpur.
In the results released by the Election Commission, BJP candidate Kangana Ranaut is winning by more than 71 thousand votes from Mandi Lok Sabha seat.
On the other hand, Congress candidate Vikramaditya Singh has suffered a very stinging defeat, because the Congress candidate did not give as much competition to the BJP candidate as was expected.The Mandi Lok Sabha seat is the home parliamentary constituency of former Himachal Pradesh CM Jairam Thakur, due to which the BJP candidate has got a big victory.BJP candidate Anurag Thakur, who has won four times in a row from Hamirpur parliamentary constituency, has won for the fifth time by one lakh 77 thousand votes.On the other hand, Congress candidate Satpal Raizada is nowhere to be seen in the contest.
BJP candidate Rajiv Bhardwaj from Kangra parliamentary constituency has registered a huge victory by two lakh 47 thousand votes.While there is no trace of Congress candidate Anand Sharma.It is worth noting that in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP won the Kangra Lok Sabha seat by more than 4 lakh 77 thousand votes.
The victory of the BJP candidate is confirmed in Shimla Lok Sabha seat as well.BJP candidate Suresh Kashyap has won by more than 90 thousand votes from Shimla Lok Sabha seat.Congress candidate Vinod Sultanpuri has completely failed to give a tough fight to the BJP candidate.The counting report of the Election Commission has made it clear that the BJP candidates have defeated the Congress by making a clean sweep in all the four Lok Sabha seats of Himachal Pradesh.
