Himachal Lok Sabha vote counting: BJP candidate Dr. Rajiv Bhardwaj’s victory confirmed on Kangra Lok Sabha seat, becomes MP for the first time

Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Shimla, June 05In Himachal Pradesh, the victory of Bharatiya Janata Party in Kangra Lok Sabha seat has been confirmed. BJP candidate Dr. Rajiv Bhardwaj has a lead of 1,74,081 votes over Congress candidate Anand Sharma. Let us tell you that 67.89 percent voting was recorded in Kangra parliamentary seat. In Kangra parliamentary seat, 64.64 percent voting of male voters was recorded while 71.18 percent voting of female voters was recorded.It is also being said that in the last phase of counting, it has become difficult for the Congress candidate to come out of the lead made by the BJP candidate.
According to the information received from the Election Commission, the lead of BJP candidate Dr. Rajiv Bhardwaj has increased to more than 1.75 lakh.In the counting process, 15,352 votes were recorded for others, including 4,635 NOTA votes.
